Laura Legge nominated for 2013 Writers' Trust of Canada/McClelland & Stewart Journey Prize

Congratulations to Malahat author Laura Legge, whose story, "It's Raining in Paris," (issue #181, Winter, 2012) has been nominated for this year's Writers' Trust of Canada/McClelland & Stewart Journey Prize.

Laura Legge holds an honours BA in African Studies from the University of Toronto. Her writing has most recently appeared in The Malahat Review, Grain Magazine, The Antigonish Review, and The New Quarterly. This spring, she was a writer-in-residence at The Banff Centre, where she worked on a short fiction collection. In addition to a new volunteer position at a complex continuing care rehab hospital, she is an amateur boxer and plays the bass guitar. She lives in Toronto.
