Cy Jenkins Trail

This is a great race training loop route that runs partially along the Galloping Goose Trail and across a boardwalk section on Glen Lake. You have to cross Jenkins Avenue to access a gravel trail near Eagle Ridge Centre, so use caution when crossing.

How to get there Follow hwy #1 and take Exit 14 Sooke to turn onto Veterans Memorial Parkway. Turn right onto Kelly Road and follow it through the intersection at Jacklin Road until you reach the stop sign at Glen Lake Road. Turn right onto Glen Lake Road, and left onto Glenview Place and park at the bottom of the hill at Glen Lake Beach.

Other info

The parking lot at the beach is only available from sunrise to sunset. There is another parking lot off Sooke Road near the Galloping Goose Trail. Part of this route runs along Glenann Road and Jenkins Avenue where there is no sidewalk, so use caution.
