Thetis Lake Regional Park
Upper and Lower Thetis Lake Trails
Thetis Lake Regional park is an outdoor mecca in both the summer and winter. This park offers a variety of trails great for walking and hiking, although some sections can be a bit steep. The best time for running this trail is during the fall and winter; Thetis Lake can be extremely busy during the summer and it can be tough to find parking.

| How to get there | Follow the Trans-Canada Highway from Victoria, and take the Colwood exit. Follow the Old Island Highway. Turn right on Six Mile Road, which leads to the park entrance. |
| What to bring | Running/walking shoes, bathing suit and towel in the summer. |
| Parking | Yes - Parking is free at Thetis Lake Regional Park from October to April. Pay parking is in effect from May 1 to September 30. |

If you only wish to go around one section, take the Trillium Trail (at the half-way point) to get back to the main beach and parking lot. |
