Qualification and expectations:
Associate Editors are assigned 3-5 papers each semester to read, review, and rate based on pre-determined criteria. Their efforts comprise the first stage of the blind, peer-review process. Associate Editors are permitted to submit their papers for consideration to On Politics.

Board Members oversee the operation of the Journal and select which essays will be published, considering only the strongest papers that emerge from the first stage of the process. Board Members are not permitted to submit their papers for publishing in On Politics.
